Style & Swagga
Friday, March 26th
Club Crystal

We are teaming up with our good friends at Muur Vibez in presenting one of the sexiest, craziest parties of 2010! Of course, we are talking about "Style & Swagga"; the big-time Dancehall event taking place in Charlotte at Club Crystal on March 26th.

We have booked one of Atlanta, Georgia's premier superstar selecta's DJ Juggla aka Mr. Gal Farm. Juggla has held it down in an extra-large way for years in the Atlanta and Florida Reggae scene, playing on many huge events and in nearly every nightclub you can name. Known for dropping hardcore riddims as well as popular club cuts, Juggla will definitely keep the dance floor rocking all night long.

Keep logging on for a chance to win tickets to this event! We will see you there...

The evening will be hosted by DJ Squidly and DJ Slam.

Doors open at 10 PM, and admission is only $5 before 11:30 with a flyer, so early arrival is mandatory!

HANGOVER PART 3

It's the second party, really (but, badman still nah play numba 2...). Everyone who witnessed the first Hangover Party we promoted at Club Crystal know one thing: What happens at Hangover stays at Hangover, so feel free to hit the bar and get too drunk to dance!

We are going all-the-way this time around! The music will be provided by none other than the big sound machine called Federation, featuring celebriity DJ Max Glazer outta Brooklyn, NY. Dub plates, remixes and nuff tunes all night long, guaranteed!

The evening will be hosted by DJ Squidly and DJ Slam.

FEDERATION SOUND

Founded in 1999 by good friends Max Glazer, Kenny Meez, and Cipha Sounds, Federation has become a worldwide force in Reggae music. After Cipha left to pursue his work with Funkmaster Flex’s Big Dawg Pitbulls. Kenny and Max continued on and built what is one of the most creative sounds in the business. Known for their wicked arsenal of dubplate specials, exclusive remixes and crazy vibes, Federation Sound rules the dance hall.

Along with Max Glazer and Kenny Meez, Federation is comprised of Alric & Boyd (Fame FM, Jamaica) and Disco D (Rest In Peace). Representing Brooklyn, Philly and Jamaica, Federation Sound continually pushes the music and the message, spreading the vibes… all over the world.

MAX GLAZER

Max Glazer has risen to the top of New York’s club scene and proven himself to be one of the most versatile DJs on the scene. As Far as the clubs go, Max is on a roll. He has worked at virtually every major club in the city. One of his biggest stepping stones was a weekly party at a restaurant owned by P-Diddy. The Tuesday night party was always packed with music industry big-wigs and celebrites, who quickly took notice of the fun combination of Hip-Hop, R’n'B, and classics.

Max has performed at numerous events for Bad Boy Entertainment, Sean John, P-Diddy, and many other big name hip-hop artists including Jay-Z, Missy Elliott and Jermaine Dupri. He is widely known for touring with R&B sensation Rihanna and Reggae superstar Baby Cham as their official DJ, but aside of that, Max has also controlled the music at other high profile events like the opening of Chanel’s Soho store, the grand opening of the W Hotel, Union Square, as well as Russell Simmons and Jennifer Lopez’ surprise birthday parties, to name just a few.

All the New York glamour and glitz aside, Max has travelled the world over making people dance. From Tokyo to London to Paris to Miami to L.A. to Vegas to Atlanta to Buffalo and everywhere in between, Max Glazer has earned a reputation as one of the most talented and professional DJs in the business.Max plays an integral role on the U.K.’s Radio 1 Rap Show w/ Tim Westwood (BBC). All of this DJs efforts have not gone without notice in the press. He’s been featured in the Styles section of the Sunday New York Times, InStyle, Trace Magazine, Esquire (K.O. Nation article), and a fashion shoot for XXL Magazine. Not just talented behind the turntables, Max first made his mark in the music business as a Journalist. He’s written for Vibe, The Source, XXL, The Fader, and legendary underground magazine On The Go.

There is no crowd that this DJ can’t move, and no challenge that he can’t conquer. With an ear for music, and an eye on the future, he truly does it all.

You really want a ticket to the yacht cruise on Halloween night? I mean, be serious.

OK.. answer these two questions:

1) What is the worst Reggae song currently in rotation right now?

2) Do the Yankees have a chance at winning the 2009 World Series?
